subwoofer Help

Well, I'm new at this. I need help with selecting subs for my box that will work in it for daily use the box is a common chamber 4.6 cu ft ported box for two 15s tuned at 45 hertz. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

so 2.3cubes per sub? If so then NOTHING that will hit hard or sound good, especially tuned to 45hz. Crappy prefab I'm guessing...

Get something cheap and crappy - itll work

You want the truth nicely ok - Most 15"s will need at 4 cubes a piece ported so youll need atleast 8 cubes to run them in that box and 45 hz is ridiculous, maybe 37 ish or what subs you get calls for. Now if you have a 4 cube box i suggest sealing it then getting something like AQ SDCs like i plan on getting becuase most 15"s can run 2 cubes sealed. Now you didnt tell us a budget, what kind of music you listen too, or whether u want spl,sq or sql so how are we supposed to give you a decent answer. You think about it

well i did say for daily use in my first post but its cool im going with a better box maybe 4cu ft per sub ported tuned @ 37 or 38.

the money is allgood whatever i have to buy i will get and im looking for quality loudness.

If you aren't going to be competing, I say go with two 15" Fi SSD's and they will get plenty loud in 6-8 cubes tuned at 35-32 Hz. They do nicely with minimal power too. My friend has only 600 watts rms going to his 15" SSD in 3 cubes tuned at 35Hz and it sounds pretty dam loud and clean.

But if you plan on competing, I say get two 15" Nightshades and a 3000D amp and let it rip.
