Subwoofer Flutter (Rattle)?

ok...it is the surround

the flutter is coming from the surround around the rim of the sub

there is a rattle at moderate to high volumes around the surround on the cone of the sub (its becoming disattached)

suggestions will be appreciated

What does it mean when a subwoofer makes a weird flutter (rattle) sound when it plays?
Even at low volumes it makes this odd noise.

No noise when the cone is push slightly in and out and the coils are fine.

Thanks
is it a new sound? It could be mechanical noise.

I need your help guys

what should I do?

my buddy said it would cost him at least $15 to repair the sub (with the purchase of special glue etc.)

I dont want to do it because I have no experience with this.

Should I ask for a refund from the seller or partial refund so I can repair the sub?

thanks

Seller said that the sub was in good working condition when he shipped. He did mention that he was playing it at low volume (little wattage).

He also stated that his friend before him played the sub with no issues.

As soon as I played the sub (moderate volume) I heard this odd noise.

I personally wouldnt try getting it fixed or fixing it, cause then if it dont fix ur liable for it. At that point its ur fault for TRYIN to fix it. Sort of like a WARRANTY item. Im sure you see where it says "Warranty Void if tampered with". I wouldnt fuk with it, then its in ur hands if it dont fix.
