Subwoofer Configuration Question

I have a question so here it is if i have 4 subs that are .5ohms what ohm load will i get if i wire them in series or even parallel?

what are you asking...your first question was if you had 4 .5 ohm subs what final ohm load could you get....you could always learn ohms law and find out for yourself..

every sub you series is doubled per coil/sub(if svc)...say dual 1 in series is 2...2x1=2

every sub you parallel is halved per coil/sub(if svc)...say dual 1 in parallel is .5... 1 divided by 2 = .5

parallel is not really halved. It is divided by number of subs

series is simply adding coil+coil+coil, etc

4 1 ohm coils parallel is .25 ohm 1/4 = .25

4 1 ohm coils series is 4 ohm 1+1+1+1 =4

3 8 ohm parallel 2.66 8/3 = 2.66

I dont see where my math is incorrect. I know there is more involved when you have differening values but that should never be the case in this application
