owners of an alpine 9886

ok, im getting almost no output out of my 9886. i just want to make sure the settings are all good so thats not it.

i have subwoofer at 15 (max) and bass ive tried 0 to 7(max)

are there any other options i have to enable to get bass?

What do your amp's settings look like? and do you have the rca's in the correct outputs?

subsonic is like 25

lpf is 80ish

and ive tried rca's in all three places, same thing. im going to try an old headunit tonight if i can

im going to call dj when i get out of school, maybe he can help.

im pretty sure its a HU option, or my HU is bad. im going to try a new one. but for anyone that has the 9886, is there a sub on off setting or something i missed?

Yes, press and hold the botton on the right side of the headunit...it'll give you a couple subwoofer options, one of them is to turn the output off...check that

It has a subwoofer off selection I think, can't remeber as I would never turn them off. My 9886 sadly blew out all the rca's so if no luck see if thats the case...

i still never found subwoofer off selection. i see a bass scale, a subwoofer scale, and a different sub thing that is like q1 to q4 at 80hz orsomething. i think maybe the rca's blew out

I always wondered if there was a way to turn the sub output off also and never found it...dont think there is?
