I need some help. I currently are running the factory front speaker and tweeters and the rear speakers off my aftermarket amp nine.4. Does anyone know if I can just drop in some 5x7's in the doors and it be ok? I dont want to run componets because I dont want to mount the crossover etc all in the door. The way my amp is hooked up to the speakers now is wire is ran from the amp to the factory harness and is snapped together with a aftermarket adaptor. Will I have to unhook the tweeters in the pods. I really want to try to use them. I am looking at these speakers.

can someone give me some insight on the process. I guess I need to buy a digital ohm meter. Also will the 6x8 sound better then the 6.5 speaker. I did not want to make or buy adaptors.

Thanks!

6.5 sounds better than a 6x8 but making speaker adapters aren't that bad and are easy to make. I was in the same boat as you. You should give it a try, Will make the sound so much better.
