SubWoofer Combination

I am wondering what does all of you expert think makes the best sub woofer combination. The goal is to achieve: 101% SQ @ 150dB.

Here is my power setup.

2 Deep Sub = Lowpass at 50Hz and below with 24dB Octave. Each driven by a Phoenix Gold ZPA 0.5.

2 Sub = Bandpass at 50Hz-150Hz with 24dB/Octave. Each driven by a Phoenix Gold ZPA 0.3.

2 MidBass = Bandpass at 150Hz-1000Hz with 24dB/Octave. Both driven by a Phoenix Gold ZPA 0.3

2 Mid/Tweeter = Highpass at 1000Hz with 24dB/Octave. All driven by a PG ZX450

I was thinking: a pair of Titanium 15 for deep sub. plus. a pair of Aluminum 10 for sub.

If anyone have a better a idea - let's hear it. Just don't forget the goal in bold above.

okay. not the response I was expecting. never the less.

What level of SPL can I expect while maintaining 100% SQ? What is the combination?

It really depends on the music you listen to.

For rap? Maybe a 140-144 achieved with good cone area in a big box.

For Rock? Nothing much at all. 1 10" on 600wrms

SQ and 150db don't mix because in order to get your highs and mids loud enough to really be on an even field with the 150db lows they would be so loud it would be unbareable daily. you'd go def in a year or less with highs loud enough to keep up with 150db

here we go again. if mulit amp, multi cross overd speakers would have worked a long time agon we all would be doing it. i would focus more on CLEAN power and perhaps multiple mathced speaker sets.

From a general foundation point of view.

Given that all speakers are of the same quality.

Obviously a 2 way speaker system (sub + full range) will sounds better than a 1 way full range speaker.

Obviously a 3 way speaker system (sub, midrange, tweeter) will sounds better than a 2 way speaker system.

Obviously a 4 way speaker system (sub, midbass, midrange, tweeter) will sounds better than a 3 way speaker system.

Why do some of you say a 5 way speaker system (deep sub, sub, midbass, midrange, tweeter) won't follow the same principle?

I believe that if given enough clean power and properly crossover so each speaker is playing at it's peak design range. The principle above would hold true.

For really deep bass you'll need a few of these...just remember to get a 3db gain you need to double the power or double the cone space. These will help you..

your a ****in retard. lol. That sub is a trashy attempt by MTX to stay on the map and there are 12's and 15's that would proly murder that thing. Plus its huge which would defeat the point.
