So i was at my friends house playing my subs at like volume 20/35 and subwoofer level 5/15 and i was playing "late night tip" and i opened my back and listened to the subs closely and i heard something weird coming out of one of the subs, it was a clicking sound. I kept listening and i kept hearing something clicking. I was wondering what that sound was? and is it normal? How do i fix it?

clicking? like... popping? You might have blown a voice coil. Depends what kind of subs you have. Or you might be getting sound interference from the head unit or amp. Theres a 1000 things that can be held accountable until you take a meter to the subs/amp/ etc...

tinsle slap,,or maybe the sub wireing bouncing inside the box.i also had the glue on a jbl subs dust cap let go on one side and make an odd noise like that

okk so i tried playing it loud with the trunk closed and i listened closely and the sound is gone. i guess it only has that sound when the trunk is open or if i put my finger nail on the cone when it is playing.
