Subwoofer Box specs

Is there anyone out ther that would be willing to figure out the box volume I should have and port size and length for 3 - 8" kicker subs as I am not very good at designing ported enclosures.

Thanks for any help or advice

-fs = 44.3 hz

-qms = 9.36

-qes = .912

-vas = .495 ft3

-qts = .831

Those subs will need a huge amount of volume in order to sound good in a ported box. If you already have them and can't return them, consider a sealed or 4th order enclosure. If you haven't bought them and space is an issue, consider the SA-8 from Sundown or some other 8 that has an EBP above 60.

The specs you list indicate an EBP of 48, while the SA-8 has an EBP of 83, iirc. To calculate EBP, divide Fs by Qes.

O.k. I already have the subs so I think I will just run them sealed, what size box would be best for sealed?

Kicker suggest .4 all the way up to 1.8 , do you think they would be good in .75-.85 per sub?
