subwoofer box leaking air at mounting area. help.

My box is fiberglass and the sub doesnt sit really tight against the box on one section. there is a small area around the ring of the sub that i can feel air blowing out of, would adding some weather stipping to this section on the bottom of the sub ring help reduce the air coming through. when my sub hits it kinda has a flapping sound to it, im assuming its from the air espacing around the ring.

Weather stripping will probably work fine, or you can buy that.
