Have you ever heard of over enflatted claims.. It happens more times then not.

Yeah but I thought that was always on peak power, It even says 900W@2Ohms RMS on the sticker on the amps faceplate.

It also says 1800 watts which i know is peak power and is overrated for sure.

Bro, they do it on RMS all the time.. Ever heard of BOSS audio? Power Acoustik? Many more.. Kenwood is not know for having power amps

Should I stay away from Kenwood in general? Is Alpine a better brand? I don't wanna have to spend crazy money as I only work part time because I'm a student. I just want something decently loud that sounds good. Like I said I'm still new and car audio is full of scams and I wanna get my moneys worth. I heard JL makes really good subs.

Start a thread with a budget, a goal, and the trunks deminsions. Ask for inputs.. Alpine is OK but there are better for the same price range
