They are on the way guys -- not sure if the updates are coming to the forums but I let Kevin know that there was an environmental inspection on the chrome factory for ~3 weeks or so per my contact at the build house. This set the woofers back from their original ETA by that long.

My stuff was held along with it... so we are out of SA-8s as well until the shipment comes in.

Next time around barring any other weird delays they should arrive MUCH quicker -- as they are well behind the normal lead time.

Thermally -- technically yes... as I have 8-layer flat aluminum coils to fit the gap.

Mechanically -- no. The spider you have is it -- but it is a super rugged spider so there would be no reason to change it.

I wasn't aware that he has a Skar Audio sub? I thought this thread was for a sub from Subtilis?

Looks like the original owner of Subtilis got banned a few times for some reason.

The SKAR VVX-12 was formerly known as subtilis, which was a different entity and people confused the two before I officially let out the name of SKAR.
