i have two hollowood exursion subs 400wrms 800max i am running them postitive to positve negative to negative on both then to the amp the amp is a kenwood 2 ch 800watt model 7201 is this the best way to do it and also what is the best type of box to use i dont know alot but need help please.

is your amp rated at 800 watts for each channel or is that the wattage bridged?? and what is the ohm rating (each since they are DVC) of your subs??

the amp is only 800 all together so i guess 400 max a side the subs are dvc 4ohm
