I am looking to purchase new subs right now im lookin at 2 Kicker L7 12" solo barics i was wondering if any one else had suggestions on brands that hit hard but also have good sound quality i own a audiobahn 2400 watt amp?

Get some Resonant Engineering XXX's, you can't go wrong.

REW XXX's are some of the best subs out there! I own a 12 and couldnt be more impressed!! The RMS is 1600 watts!! These are impressive subs! The most impressive sub i have ever personally seen or used! I have used Solo S 12d's, L7's, Comp VRS (used to be a big kicker fan) also i have used Old MTX subs some old Kicker comps with the gold letters, Sony Xplod (not one of my finer moments) Now i have seen and heard ALOT of subs! Never a JL audio W7 though which i think would be very good competition for an XXX if not be a shade better! The closest thing i have heard to it so far is a ED 12A and second would be th IDMAX!! I hear that the Magnum D2 is very competitive with it as well for less money! Any how check out the XXX's http://www.respl.com

Ahhhhh, didn't you read that he never heard of them? So don't abbreveate the subwoofers name.

That is definatly not too much, as long as he makes some kind of upgrade to his electrical system, like an alternator, batt, etc.
