Subs Unleashed on my here recently I found out. Each 1 of 4 had at least 6 of 8 screws backed out by at minimum .5"... Some were broken. The rear left sub was practically jumping around on the box... And I had been keeping them in check every other week or so but never saw a problem until now...

I think I'm gonna use the large blue dual threaded HD screws and see how that turns out... Just so I don't have to buy more materials...

x2, cement screws wont get you far and they're expensive

That happened to me with my two 12" 3hp subs, I was using drywall screws and half of the snapped.

I stepped up to thick machine screws and bolts, feels much manlier.

only had this happen with my 05 xxx's...too much weight mounted on a vertical baffle

well I think it also has something to do with me inverting them as well... but I think I will try the sheet metal screws
