Anyone tried Tymphany's Linear Array Subwoofer?

These were about 1/4 of that price on partsexpress a year or so ago. almost grabbed some, but blew money on other toys instead.

I think its an awesome idea. I remember when I first read about it, great way to get maximum "cone" area in a minimal space.

Its almost like a compression driver, should have extremely high output for its displacement.

Yea I remember seeing them a couple years back...

It is the same thing. It was designed by Tymphany using Alpine 7" woofers and an Alpine designed box. They had the PLV-LAT7 and the PLT-LAT5. I know for sure there's a PLT-LAT5 for sale on here. That's slightly smaller than the LAT7 and uses 5" woofers instead of 7" woofers.
