subs that win spl contests

Ok I would like to know from the guys who compete and go to competitions, what subs are being used? what brand to be more precise? I have a guy in the town I live in that runs a big Rockfoerd Fosgate amp(3000 watts) and 2 fosgate 15 competiton subs and he thinks` that it does not get any better then that.....I know there are other brands out there that he has never heard of and I just want toget a list...I know that AQ , DD, Fi BTLs are a few that win contests...I told him I have not recently heard of anybody winning spl contests with RF gear.

Alot of people win with RF amps, not so much there subs

Like you mentioned AQ, DD, and FI are taking home some trophies. Also IA, Cactus, Atomic, AB, and AA. There is a big comp in Oshkosh, WI july 20th. Most fo the people who compete in Il, Wi, and Mn will be there, if your not to far I would recomend coming to check it out, its a 3x dbdrag and bassrace.

Not many people use Rockford anymore. There is alot better for less money.

Top subs in dB Drag as far as Records and wins is.

And pioneer does currently hold the loudest score ever 181.3 dB Team Edge Audio, but nobody else uses them.

2003 was the last time I saw anybody have a record or win with rockford subs. And they were the Team RF subs that they discontinued.

Ontop of the woofers already mentioned kicker solo-x's have won many times. The rockford trf is a capable spl woofer... but thats about it for rockford.
