Subs that get loud off little power

Seriously, the Memphis M3 15"s are the loudest and deepest playing subs I've ever heard on 1000 watts.

When I first got 1 of my 18" FI btls installed in the back seat of my accord it was on a pioneer 750watt amp and OMG was it loud not I got it in my lifted cherokee on 3k watts and its louder...I got it metered in my cherokee on an legacy preadtor 2400(shop said amp was prolly doing around 700watts) and I hit a 143.2 on TL that was before I got it on the crunch 3k I have now

ive had the best luck with the jbl p1222 400 rms and it gets louder then anything ive had at same power

my volvo with 1 watts 141db...
141db with 1 w rms

154db with 100 w rms

173db with 1000w rms

180db with 12.000 w rms

181db with 36.000 w rms

182db with 74.000 w rms

the cabine can gaing over 40db.

the 9918Z DD is 98db eficience 1 m /1 w .

than the 43db gaing is from the box design at the resonence frequence of my volvo(61hz)

a pair of 500's or a single 1500 would be a good match. the 2500's are a huge step up in power though. any of them like to be tuned at 38-45 hz in the appropriate size box. tuning freq is dependant on the vehicle. make sure you do your math right because it will make or break a setup.

500 series : 250-300 wrms each

1500: 500rms + each

2500: 1000 rms+ each

3500: 1500 each

9500: 2000 each

Kicker CVR's. The best middle end sub I think. Correct me if im wrong but i think the 12's are like 300 or 400rms. I know the 15's are 500rms. I had two of the 15's on a profile cali 1000.1 about 1yr ago. I mean i want breakin windows or nothin but i had a lil thunder..lol. Check them out though. I got my two for like $120 a sub...Good luck and keep it funky!!!
