99-06 GM Extended Cab Ultra Deep Dual 10/12 Downfire Box Hey guys I havent been around in awhile but im just about ready to install everything in my 05 Silverado ext cab. Here's a link to the prefab box (yes I know..) that ill be buying. If heard pretty decent things about this company however. Link is at th beginning of my paragraph.. mobile phone problems.
As of now im on a tight budget so I picked up some very nice like new first gen Alpine Type R 10's. Single voice coil even! Since I am on a budget as of now ill be using my old kicker kx 1200.1 i believe it was manufactured in 04. Its decent even though its 10 years old! Id replace it but money is tight right now. My concern is more for these older Type R's and how well they will do in .92 cubic feet a piece? I was reading that Sundown SD's are basically made for smaller sealed setups. But is there anything else in todays market that is worth considering?
Also when the time comes do you folks think I'd be better off using 10's or buy the same box but for 12's? I figured 10's caue they require less air space?
