I need some help with my Sub install. I have a custom made duel compartment sub box with 2 Caliber CWX 12 Sub Woofers, my problem is with the bass sound I wont I have lot of un wanted sound before and after the beat. What do I need to do to eliminate this unwanted sound. The rest of my system is 2 x Polk Momo 6.5" Components and I am running the subs and speakers off Caliber CA 470 Pro Amps with the Sub Amps Bridged to 2 Channels. All the cabling is top spec Phoenix Gold.

Thanks in advance

Colin

Trouble shooting. Perhaps the subs are hooked up backwards, negative to positive etc. You may have an air leak, or maybe the box is too large or too small? How do you have the Xover points done up?

Subs are hock up the right way, they are in a 32 litre box, which is what is recommended by Caliber and JL as the Caliber subs are the same as JL W6, Don't think it is an Air Leak as the inside of my box is totally fibre glassed, and all the joints siliconed. The Low Pass Filter is at 80 hz and the subsonic filter is at 40 hz.
