subs sound bad

I just bought My 2nd Kenwood sub to day the problem is that when I had just 1 hooked up to my mono amp It sounded really good but when I hooked up my 2nd one to the same amp neither one of them act like they have much power going to them when I un hook the new one it sounds good did I get a defective sub I checked all of my wiring and it is good

Um. Kinda vague. Model # amp? Kind of subs? VC config? How did you wire em up?

It sounds like you wired them out of phase. Try switching the positive and negative wire from ONE sub. Things should get noticeably louder.

i agress sound like you wire it wrongly

I assume is a 4 ohm >svc

If you still have problem try checking the wire and the amp

I started playing with it and the sub was bad because I hooked just the 1 up and it sounded wierd and quiet I took it back to the store got a new one workes good but my box is not big enough because they move a lot but are really quiet. I am going to start my new box tomarow

Did you at least try reversing the polarity of one of the subs? It seriously takes less than ten seconds to do and can cause NO harm at all. Saying, "they're moving a lot but they're not that loud" doesn't really tell us anything nor does it tell us if the box is a problem because we have no idea what frequencies you're talking about nor do we know what the current enclosure is.

I have 2 Kenwood KFC-W3011 subs and right now they are in a box that is 13 x 13 x 32 Sealed how do I figure out how big to make my box
