wait til it gets alil warmer and you crack the window open and release some cabin pressure, it will sound soo much louder...

temperature drop results in increased fs and decreased vas. this is really bad for low end output (sub 200hz range)

THIS. I thought I was the only one haha. I'm always stickin my nose towards my trunk haha. The smell of wood and burning always get mixed up to me, so its always hard to tell.

^^^This, and your amp is not staying consistant as well/Getting hot, and leveling off safely/loosing rms power! Try getting some air under the amplifier/raise it up off the flatt mounted surface/or try a fan on it also/both is what I do.May help out

It's the opposite for me. Here in Vegas when it was 115 degrees outside in the summer, my sub didn't really seem loud at all. Then when it got into the 40's in the winter that **** seem really loud. My guess is since the air is denser when it's cold it sounds louder but who knows..

If I'm right, there was a topic a few years back about people discussing db being affected by temperature and weather. The answer to it was yes. How loud you are in let's say Florida, might be different somewhere like Colorado. The state of the air around you will in fact effect how loud your system is, to the ear and on the mic. So if you think it's louder one day and quieter the other, think about if the atmosphere is different than the day prior. If not, then it comes down to you being used to it.
