subs popping and going out?

im not really sure what it is im new to car audio but i have four mtx twelves and a jl twelve w7 ive got them running on three differrent amps a t.ma. 250w, a infinity reference somwhere around 500-600w, and some shitty 200w amp i forget what brand......it seems to do this when i turn the volume up past 31-32 the hu is a kenwood....it will make a small popping sound and then the subs will stop beating or go in and out i....anyone know what it could be?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

I would first get rid of all the mismatching subs and amps.. you have it all mangled together and confusing me just reading what you are doing..

I would get rid of the 3 amps, and the 4 12s, and sell them.. buy a nice amp with the money you get and run just the W7 and one amp to it and be happy.. you probably have the amps maxed out, or below the stable level that they can run at.. and it causing them to turn off or go into protection.. I suggest quit mixing so much together, especially since you are having problems already..

yea i know i planned on getting just one amp to power them but i haven't got the money to do it right now and i found out it has to do with my gain/feq. settings do you think it would be alright to take one set of the mtx's out (because they're in a shitty box anyway) and just power the jl with the tma 250w and the mtx with the infinity reference and it still sound alright (still bump loud and maintain its clarity)?? i don't really want to get rid of the one set of mtx's becasue i just bought them...... i also was messing with the controls and noticed that after doing so the lyrics of the song are much louder inside and doesn't bump as hard any thoughts?
