Subs play but speakers dont

So lately my head unit has been acting up. The speakers are making no sound at all, but the subs are still working. It is an Alpine 9883 and i have been using the head unit to power the speakers. I'm guessing its an internal problem but i figured it can't hurt to ask for some advice on how to fix the problem. Any ideas on how to fix it?

sounds like you either turned the internal amp off or have damaged it somehow

Make sure none of your speaker wires are grounding out

what did you do/where were you doing when the speakers stopped working?
