subs out of phase please help

Ok so it was stated that my subs may be out of phase while someone was watching a vid i posted.... well i went to check and see if it was not just the camera.... So it wasnt that noticeable while playing on higher freq so i tried something around 25hz and i noticed it a little more. right now its 2 aq sdc 2.5 15's in a slot ported box with the port down center. each sub has its own amp (kicker zx1000.1). Neither amp is at full power i did use the dd-1 to set gains and then matched the amp with a dmm i also lowered that the gains a substantial amount to ensure i wasn't getting the full power out my amp but staying around the same volts out of the speaker terminals.

so just wondering if it could be due to something i have done with the gain setting or box design. my guess would be box design because my port does not have anything on the back wall to direct air flow out of port. Any other suggestions??

you can't see it by eye. If your subs were out of phase it would be very quiet. reverse the wiring on one sub so the positive wire goes to the negative and the negative goes to the positive terminal.

so being out of phase would just be how it sounds? not the movement of the sub? man im such noob then...

but the way they are wired i think should be fine. the aq has direct leas that i didnt cut down so all are the same length and they go to a distribution block then speaker wire to amp. all lengths of speaker wire are the same. the power and ground lengths are the same also.

i will double check the wiring again

Well 2 things... One is make sure they arent actually out of phase which means the polarities are reversed and the other thing to check is the amps... Since both are on their own amp everything has to be matching exactly...
This guy!

Being out of phase means the polarities are reversed...

so the polarities are not reversed... i got both pos from sub to pos into amp and same with neg... what else would cause the subs to move differently? i got the ac/volts from each amp to match exactly maybe off my .1... would that play any factors?

So on my amps i dont have a subsonic knob the amps state its at 25hz though. the LPF is set by my deck at 80hz and the deck is a pioneer deh 8300ub. with that would it matter where the x-over is set on the amps?

I have the same amp and the SSF is fixed at 25hz, it's bum deal if you ask me but what are you going to do. It shouldn't matter where the lpf is on the amp unless it's lower than 80hz. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel like when I was filtering at 80hz on the amp AND the HU that my bass sounded wonky. I ran a full signal from the HU and let the LPF on the ZX do the work and it sounds way better to me although, I couldn't really tell you why the double filtering would make it sound different.
