Subs on a budget?

Well, no one has answered my question about the AudioQue subs. They seem fairly nice, but I would need a response in order to make up my mind. If I go with a single sub setup in my car, I may spend up to $250.

Maybe more for something really nice.

I want to show off and be unique, like everything I do. I want a brand no one has ever heard of around here. We only see Wal-Mart brands, and a few subscribers to Crutchfield.

I plan on using up to 4ft3 for the sub box, less if I can or need to. 10" maximum sub size, 1100rms @ 1 ohm is highest amp I have available now.

Please help with an idea.

What about Sundown?

Never heard of em till last week. And their website sucks balls, I can't get it to show me anything. Not even prices? ****ed up for a netseller.

For the last 5 years, I have been a Memphis/JL fan. Times are changing, and everyone and their sexgoat has a PR sub, but calls it a mojo.

Give me something new please, or I will have to join the crazed masses in line for their turn to screw the goat. I am in Tennessee you know.

Ok, STOP. Take a step back and look around the forum a bit. You'll be glad you did //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

My lastet install is as budget as I ever went and it has surprised the shit out of me. Only had it in for a little bit, but I don't know if it is in the install or what, but it slams and sounds good doing it.
I bought the cheapest line of Autotek amps out there in the SM1-1000RMS Street Machine amp and running it on 2 of the cheaper Pioneer Premier Championship series subs 400rms each and a el cheapo Lanzar crossover and I am easily in the 140db range, which is plenty loud for most people.

Subs were 65 bucks each shipped and call for .75-1.75 per sub on the 12. The 10, I am not sure. I enjoy these subs more than my type R's, which I liked as well. They sound very good too and have them running sealed currently to save room.
Those cheap pioneer really impress me, i had the 10 version and i really like those subs.

They sound better than CVR's and can be as loud.

I'm sorry, but searching the forum doesn't tell me everything I need to know about Sundown. And I'm still waiting on answers about AudioQue. EVERYONE says they have one or more products, so why the hell dont ya'll answer?

Dude, Audioque/Sundown is huge around here. Type in Audioque or Sundown in the search button and will bring up plenty of feedback for you from many different people. The forum love those brands and seems to hold up well. I personally never tried them, but have read many good things about them and I am not even interested in them. Is not that hard.....................also if reading feedback on the forum is not for you, then what the fawk are you doing here?
