Subs Making Weird Noise...please help:crap:

lol its braced by 2x2's i think it was the camera itself it was from the distortion or whatever its called

dude its your box the camera isnt going to distort the box if its moving in the camera then its moving for real!

I bet your box is coming apart.....seriously. That hammer and chisel noise you speak of is probably the wood banging together. Throw some more screws in that thing!

x2 my box was making the same noise... put some more screws in and it quit

Well Found the problem, The Box itself isnt coming apart but the one of the 2x2's bracing the thing was. So Cut a new one and Glued/drilled it and should put the subs back in the car tomorow.

Thanks for all the help everyone.... One more thing do I use just any screws because my experiences with screws and MDF = lots of problems should i predrill the hole first?? and special MDF screwws?

what does that mean if the sub makes a noise and you can also feel it when u push down on the cone

I was about to say it could be the amp. My old amp make some horrible noises like that like a jackhammer. I thought it was the subs for a long time.

upp sub sounds like a griding noise or something rubbing

Besides the front baffle flex, dont ignore the debris flying out of the bass port on the second vid lol!
