subs louder with engine off

thanks.....Do you know why this might be happning or not?I also had everything installed by visions and they really dont know what they are doing, first time they had the subs only running off of 1 voicecoil.

its nothnig to do with the exhaust,it seems has if the subs are more powerful with the engine off.But they should be more powerful with the engine on seen as how the alternator would be spinning which would then be giving power to the battery.

dont be bumping with your engine off you will draain your battery than it wont matter how loud it cause it wont start
thats only if he does it for a while...

what you are saying doesnt make sense...it should be louder off 14.4 volts than 12

wow thanx for saying the same thing i did... it seems to be louder but in reality its about the same seeing as no engine and exhaust sounds interfering with his listening zone....could start by sound deadening the floor pan of your car...

I think your just retarded and are wrong

I dont see a reason why a perfectly functioning stereo would be louder on 12.5 than it would be on 14+

You probably couldnt even hear that audible difference with that voltage change

I vote your wrong, and your ricer exhaust is to loud

i say the reason why your subs arent as loud with the car on is because you have a loud exhaust where the sound of it starts to overpower the sound of your subs which makes it seem like their not as loud

yes i am too stupid to notice the differance? The reason i joined this forum and made a thread about this was not to get *****ed at,but was hoping to recieve some helpful information.thanks for the people who are actually helping,it has nothing to do with the exhaust. When the engine is off the subs seem a lot more powerful and hit harder,I have a 110 amp alternator with a 900 cca battery maybe woud it have something to do with the cap?im not sure what the problem is but its not the car noise
