Subs louder while driving

Some stereo's have a setting that turns up the volume with driving and lowers it when idling. Usually the settings are low, med and hi. It was designed to play louder over road noise while the cars are in motion. I always disable it.

Is it normal for subs to sound louder when your driving then when you're idleing? My car idles at 13 volts and drives about 13 volts too. But I also had the windows down when driving.

you're windows down will make it louder. If i have my windows about 1/2 down, that's the loudest aspect of my car, in which you can barely breath. I MISS MY SYSTEM, I WON'T SEE HER UNTIL DECEMBER!!!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

Yeah my system it louder with the windows down. My car has the auto volume feature that increases the volume when the car is moving to make up for road noise. I turned that feature off because it always causes distortion with my speakers and caused my last sub to blow.
