subs in rear deck

i'm going to be putting some subs in my rear deck (in the stock 6x9 locations).

i'd like to put them in sealed boxes hanging down from the rear deck.

any suggestions on the best way to seal the enclosures to the underside of the rear deck?

pics of other rear deck installs would be appreciated as well!

Just out of curiousity, why do you want them attached to the rear deck? You would probably need to anchor them from the top of the deck.

mostly for simplicity.

i was just going to run them IB for a super easy setup that wouldn't take up any space.

but then i realized that the front and rear of the sub would NEVER be properly separated, so i could probably get better performance with a sealed alignment.

as long as yuor subs can hanle it it works very well

He want's sealed boxes though, I think. What if you dynamat the rear deck before you attach the boxes, wouldn't that stop the rattling?

Maybe the box would need an extended lip that can be anchored to the deck. Like the face would extend 2 inches or so on the sides and you can bolt it to the deck that way.
