whatever the the cubic size is doesn't really matter right now. The box is as big as half of the back seat, to me that is massive. You guys may have bigger that is cool but dont make me seem like a dumb a** just because you have something bigger. But i was thinking about some dynamat or something equivalent and cheaper to deaden the sound. Then put a port in the door somewhere. The shallow mounts are a good idea, but the whole reason this idea ended popping in my head was to get the buy one get one free deal at circuitcity on the kickers.
