subs in camaro

As soon as i get the money I will be getting a 93' Camaro, but the trunk hatch is fairly small. I plan on possibly getting 2 10" XXX subs and a 2000 watt soundstream amp. I will most likely be getting a custom box that has the subs so that there facing straight up due to the lack of space. So i was wondering how much it would affect the sound and what size of a box these subs work best with. Thanks

Firing upwards is fine.

I'd go with about .7 - 1.25ft^3 sealed per driver, or 1.5ft^3 minimum ported per driver.

I used to have a old ***** am, get either the QLOGIC camaro box or have a custom one built and drop in either 2 12"s or 3 10"s. I had 2 12" JL W3's on a crossfire and that shit was ridiculously loud.

What do you want out of your music ... want it loud, to sound good, or some of both ?

How much total airspace are you willing to give up (in cubic feet) ?
