subs in box too tight?

Hey im kinda have the same problem as you but my cutout is a little too big. I think I have massive air leaks in the front cause my subs are a little bit smaller than the cutout. So can I just put some silicon around the cutout to make it smaller, or how would I use the weather stripping. I think which ever gets harder, and can stick to the cutout better would work for me. So what should I get? The circle is probably off by less than 1/2 of an inch. Sorry if I'm thread jacking but my problem is so silimar.
Get a new box...

Yea, that was my original plan, but this thread gave me hope of saving my current box. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Cut out a ring of MDF large enough to fit over the big whole in the box and then a smaller whole in the middle fo fit your sub in. Then just screw the ring down on the box and then the sub onto the ring. Don't get a new box.
