subs have become weak

i have 2 hds212 subs with a alpine mrx110 amp in a custom ported enclosure with 2.1 cubes per sub tuned to 34hz...... when i first put these subs in the box after a few days break in turning them up they were ridiculously loud! i was very happy and very pleased, now randomly there just not as loud anymore? yes there still loud its not like a blown sub there still powerfull but a lot less than just 3-4 days ago. i haven't changed in any settings on them its just random i've checked my alt and batt there both fine getting 13.6 volts at idle on the amp i just cant figure it out i dont have any bass boost or anything like that..... i set my gain using a dmm 50hz tone at 0db and set the amp to output 40v so i dont think im clipping or anything like that. i also dont think its cause i just got used to it because my back hatch doesn't flex like it used to it still vibrates but it used to literally like jump..... please help me figure this out its about as loud as my old kicker cvr setup so its still loud but it used to be a whole lot louder im so puzzled i cant figure this out also ive pushed in on the subs no scraping noises move freely im so confused. any help is appreciated.

box is brand new built by boomsday off this forum so i dont think that would be it but ill look it over..... i put the test tone on and im holding 39.9 and jumping to 40.0 so im right on the money with that, ill replace the rca's tomorow with new knu konceptz tomorow morning... hopefully its just that easy.... any other suggestions????

powers good 4 gauge ofc knu konceptz and fuse is good maybe its my ground though maybe i should try a new ground? i've never really liked my ground but cant find a good spot......

i dont think its my ears at all because the back hatch used to really move like i could watch it literally jump, now its more of just a vibration...... and i set with 0 db cause i listen to alot of bass heavy songs i have set with a -6db tone once and could hear audible distortion

Check the subs maybe dropped a coil or a wire in the box.
dropped a coil?

With dvc subs you can kill a coil and the sub will still work. What are you wired to ? What impedance are your subs. Check surrounds and and spiders to make sure nothing is lifting from a bad glue job.
