subs have become weak

Can't really tell from the pic but I had two hds2 12s awhile back the coil were a dark copper color but they played fine and no problems.

ones a dark copper ones a lighter copper they still work which is what puzzles me they still have more bass than my old 12 kicker cvr's.... but its less bass than what they were producing just 3-4 days ago

is there a way i can tell if its because the coils

I've seen coils where just one wire is burnt like that pic he sent. It could be that coil. I think I still have a burnt solo X 18 coil I can take a pic of

Edit: can't find the coil I had laying around. Think I threw it out

would love to see it and if its just the one coil does that mean the subs pretty much done as far as ever reaching true potential?
