Subs Going Off at Off Times

My two 12s are emitting bass when I change the song, first turn on the HU (and there is not any music on yet) and when I shut it off.

The bass comming them is not continous, they are short spurts. Any ideas on what this is from, and is it a problem I should worry about?

I had a similar problem however it was when songs were playing. We did a few trouble shoots and realized one of the RCAs plugged in the amp was not even working and that a few wires connecting the rear speakers to the lineout converter were reversed.
