subs getting more watts then RMS

It will only harm them if you set the gains wrong. Follow the toutorial if you can and you should be fine.
x2, if you don't listen to this man, then might as well not even ask for advice. that is the best advice you can have. Id prolly set the amp to push 100 to each. BTW what kind of pioneer sub is it, 80 watts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif . Super efficent of super weak //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.

they are 8" and are purpleish and the cone has the old pioneer logo on it. and they are sealed enclosure type. I can get a pic of them tonight if it helps Pioneer doesnt have them on their website in the archive section.

as said before, be careful with the gains. especially if they are older subs. wear and tear on them, could lead to them burning and dieing if you try to drive em to hard ! which will lead to this. . .>>>>> //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif
