subs getting hot

After playing my system for a little the cone of the sub gets hot, not hot enough that you cant hold your hand on the cone but it gets pretty warm. This was after about a 30 min drive. I have never smelled anything burning. Is this normal or am i going to mess my subs up. They are two alpine type rs on a power acoustic a3000db.

probably a lil too much power but after 30 mins of hard play most cones would get warm...

x2 on that if this is buging you try turning the gain a little lower
