Subs facing up?

What are the advantages, disadvantages?

if one sub dies it doesnt kill the other one.

One more question I forgot to ask...is it necessary to have a "wall" separating the two subs in a sealed box, like most pre-fab boxes have?

I'm using an Orion XTR Pro 2400, and goose5741 yes, I already have the subs and am running everything right now and it sounds like crap with the box I have (way too small, pre-fax box), and tons of rattling. I'm hoping that porting the rear deck will cure some of the rattling.

also you had better build that box pretty dam clost to manufacturers specs becuase i have heard about a lot of h2's that have blown when they shouldnt have becuase they werent in the right box.
