Subs dont sound right?

SO I just got done hooking up my LOC and I noticed it didnt mader which way the RCA's were plugged in because it worked both ways...Is this normal? Also I havent yet tuned my amp but alot of videos on youtube show their subs pounding really hard with sometimes less watts then what I have...Why arent mine as loud? Did I mess up one of the wirings? Please help D:

Thanks for my first groan -___- I have a kicker 12" and a cadence 800rms...the subs are also 800rms...If I tune the amp I listen to my music loud and i like to hear and feel that good deep bass if you know what i mean //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Also is the whole RCA thing normal?

What voice coil are they and are you sure they are wired to the right ohm load? Being in a kicker Prefab box Im guessing they came prewired to 2 ohms... Link to the exact amp? You should have told use all of this in the OP in order for us to help... the RCA thing is fine...

Did you set your amp with a dmm, and do you have an aftermarket hu?

Due to him using a LOC, I would say he has a Stock HU.

Yea I definitrly have a stock HU but i was advised to set the gain on my LOC about 3/4s up or get a multimeter and atleast put it to 1v...also i remmeber reading about switching my switch on the amp the low? Anything else I should do?

LPF usually about 80 hz, gain (input sensitivity) tested via dmm and a 50 hz test tone. bass boost stays down. And the left and right RCA thing is normal if it's a mono amp.

usually leave the LOC alone and just tune the amp to the desired voltage. If you can't get around the desired voltage then you might have to play with the LOC
