Subs dancing when car is running

Get an aftermarket headunit, it doesn't matter if it's a cheap one from Bestbuy that's under $100, it'll work better.

I've installed a DVD headunit in a 2004 GMC Sierra 2500 and it's as easy as an install gets so you shouldn't have any issues replacing it, but since you said you have one of those premium "Bose" sound systems so it's more work but it isn't impossible.

btw my buddy used to run a LOC in his 98 Cadillac Catera and when the LOC burned out from too much voltage from the stock headunit it ruined his $700 US Amps USA-2000X amp by burning out its preamp stage. After that my buddy and I swear that we'll never use one of those again.

The HU is going to stay. If that means I remove the subs becuase it simply will not work, then that is the way it has to happen; however, I need to try to eliminate all causes.

Does anyone know where I can get a wiring diagram for this truck (for free) so I can make sure all of the wiring is correct?

Just google it, something has to come up..

And another option would be the MTX REQ5.

MTX re-Q5 Bass Restoration & Signal Processor (reQ5, reQ-5)

I don't see the point in buying more equipment myself. Once you track down the issue you currently have, it will just fine for what you want I'm sure.

If I shop installed it, then I would take it back there and be very upset and request to have it fixed. Or Request they pay to have it fixed by another shop.

Thanks for the replies. It's nice to see people helping others.

I found this after googling my specific truck. Perhaps someone could decipher it for me?

"You need to tap the LOC at the factory subwoofer. Tapping off of the rear speaker gets a crossed over'd signal."

I'm starting to think the wires that were tapped into are the wrong ones.

I told you this a full day ago.
