Subs cutting in and out

Start by checking the battery voltage at the amplifier while it is cutting out. Most amplifiers go Into low voltage protection at 10.5v or 11v.
Also disconnect the subs from the amp and measure the ohm load of the subs.
Do you know the exact model numbers of the amplifier and the subs?
The amp is a Autotek Mean Machine M2500.1D and the subs are power Acoustik GW-124. I will test the voltage of the amp as well as measuring ohm load when I have the time

I tried checking the ohm load before but my multimeter was going crazy could it be because I have them on there side? I seen a video saying they have to be on a flat surface

I checked voltage and have a .1 drop from battery to amp while playing 40hz test tone

I checked ohms of both back terminals of the box and they were ranging from 1.6 - 2.0 on both sides

Which amplifier do you have? There is more than one ‘mean machine 2500’. What is the model number? And how are you wiring the sub terminals to the amplifier?
