subs cutting in and out

just looked at the inputs, look solid.

So i guess ill try changing it to a 4ohm load..... Im just really discouraged at this point

Never tryed it at 4ohms, turned the gain down and just stuck it back under my seat. But its coming on and off when u smack the top of it

its at 4ohms now, doing the same thing.

Its not really cuttin in and out anymore. When u first power up the amp, it needs to be smack a few times and it starts hitting. Sometimes it does this half power crap too, anyone have any ideas? Im trying it in a different car tomorrow, so i can rule out wiring and HU

the inputs maybe broke under the on the bottom of the board .or the solder point where the inputs come out on the other side of the board

I still dont have a clue, i picked up an RF P6002 off cl for 70bucks(thing seriously looks new, dual chrome plate model) and its not have any issues. So i know its the amp now, guess ill send it back to ampmedics. Gotta love electronics, like to go out because they feel like it
