Ascendant Audio Assassin 10" ($70/each or $140/pair)

Profile AP1000M ~ makes around 500w @ 2 Ohms which is what a pair of the above-linked 10s would give you when wired in parallel like so (Option #1) This would feed around 250w each into both subs. That's not as much as they'll take but it should be adequate to get them moving good.

Brand new with a 3-year warranty for $160.

The subs + the amp hits right on your $300 monetary ceiling.

After shipping is calculated in you're looking at something over your stated $300 budget but IMO it would be worth it to know you're getting brand new gear that carries valid warranties.
