Will be working with around 2cu ft. I have someone picking up my sub en box for 200 tomorrow at 6. So thats my budget shipped, you can maybe squeez 220 outa me IF its a good deal. Looking to run ported at 40-42Hz, what cha got

Power will be memphis 1000, 1000x1@1ohm/600x1@2ohms

Looking to get decently loud while holding on to some SQ

I actually think DD stuff is reasonably priced... You can get DD95's for practically free now heh. I honestly prefer the AQ amplifiers over their subwoofers too but now that prices have gone up there are more appealing brands to choose from I personally wouldn't run anything less than DC, SA, DD, RD etc amplifiers at this point. Crescendo's are starting to looks nice though for the price.

Once again that's your opinion and it's my opinion that AQ's sound better almost all of them do lol even though the 2.5's lack a bit in SQ sometimes on the lows. and I've seen cheaper AQ's take about the same power as an SA. Like I said I have had a SDC2.5 15" on 1200rms and it could have taken more and the 2.5 costs less than the SA's. Personally I would probably run SA over the AQ's anyways because I dont like the excursion of the AQ's too stiff imo.
DD's are priced well for what u get. Crescendo' makes a nice product also but friend had an issue with his 3500's at usaci finals this year so thats why I did not go with the bc2000. But I think I made the right choice with my A7. Time will tell.

Well FI' site is still offering the upgrades for free.... a 12in Q is 275 like 1.8-2.5cu, and 1krms sounds like a decent match. But louder then 2 10in dcons?

i like my db a5 4ch, it makes my highs scream

May try one for the price... hopefully they dont go up as well...
It's be pissed... I was thinking about getting one of the 2ks for my car to run 2 10's off of...

they have pretty decent output? Really looking for a SQL mix that focuses on the output
Fi Q's do have amazing SQ and output I can't believe I forgot to mention these I keep thinking you want 10's and have a $200 budget haha. I ran an SSD and it sounded CLEAN and thats not even their SQL based subwoofer.

fi q is one of the best sounding subs for the money you can buy.
^ For once I agree with this man.

My friend did a 142.3 off of a Rockford Prime P1000.1D @ 4 ohms (roughly 500rms) in a side firing aero box tuned to 35hz and it was his first run ever and he picked a ****** song. I'm willing to be a properly setup FI Q would outperform 2 DCON 10's and sound a bit better too also one 12" Q would love 2ft^3 where as you need more for the 2 dcons.

Also if you ever decide to upgrade your amplifier an upgrade Fi Q can take about 1.5kw daily we ran a stock Fi Q 15" off that much after we moved that Rockford to 2 ohm birth sheet said it did about 1200rms but we clipped it a little, still never got warm.

I would be rocking ssd's right now but once shipping was tossed in they were over my budget close to 700 for 3.
I ran a 15" SSD for awhile off an AP1500.1D @ 2 ohms and the thing smacked hard could only imagine what 3 off 3k would sound like >.

How is it laughable to say they have good SQ? AQ has almost always had decent SQ i've always enjoyed listening to them. and failing is because of inadequate installs, I've run a SDC2.5 15" off 1200RMS daily with not even a hint of heat and the suspension is STILL stiff. I've ran an AQHDC3 copper off an AP1500.1D @ .5 ohms daily with voltage drop tuned to 27hz @ 7ft^3 and it sounded great and hit lows never got warm and sounded better than my PSI Platform 1 that cost about $100 more IN THE SAME BOX off THE SAME amplifier.
Bro, I'm with you on hdc3's being good since i run a 18". But for SQ, no. I have mine in 6 cuft tuned to 34 @ 1000, and its far from any SQ setup I've heard. Not sure if you've heard any

I think they have good SQ and get low as hell and for the price not many companies beat them out easily, and if you can't tell I'm kind of a DC fanboy :p jk

That's a matter of opinion and what you use them for, IMO SA subwoofers aside from the nightshades sound like dogpiles, if I had to choose personally I would go with DD over all though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif SSA is incredible but a little over-priced on some of their subwoofers aside from the DCON which is a BEAST for the price.
That's funny that you would personally go with DD but think SSA is over-priced. lol.
