Sub wiring

I never figured out why, either...except that for SPL boxes, they're only built to last a very short time anyway, so nobody's really concerned how they look.

For a permanent install, I think it looks tacky, but that's just IMO.

 
Or maybe they don't care what it looks like?!?!?! Does not look clean at all imo though.
When the box is probably going to get hacked up and rebuilt for something else after competition, there really isn't an incentive to make it look pretty, only strong as hell //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Hence the duct tape solution around the speaker gaskets...looks horrendous, but if it gains that extra .1dB, it must have been worth it, heh.

Again, I don't subscribe to this because I don't compete, but I see the logic...
