I just bought 2 JL 12w6v2's DVC 4ohm, and a 851s Rockford Fosgate amp.
Here's the specks from the amp 425 x 2@2 ohm per channel or 850 x1 @ 4 ohm.
Here is my question. Which of these two wiring configurations would be better.
Option 1. Wiring the DVC's in parallel, creating a 2ohm load, and hooking them each up to a seperate channel
Or wiring the drivers in parallel and the DVC's in series creating a 4 ohm load and bridging the amp into 1 channel. The former is easier, but i don't know which will sound better. thanks for your help.
