Sub to amp wiring help

hi guys...I'm pretty new at this whole car audio thing so I just had a quick question. I have 2 svc subs at 4 ohms (kicker comp 12's) and a kicker 250.1 amp. I was looking on crutchfield at wiring diagrams but I just wasn't really sure about everything. I want to wire the subs to 2 ohms, but all the diagrams show mono amps with one speaker output (as they should). The kicker amp is set up so that there are 2 outputs, but it's still one channel. The diagram says to wire positive amp to one woofer, pos to pos between woofers, negative amp to woofer, and neg to neg between woofers. Which positive and negative output on the amp should I use? Either positive or negative will work on the amp. As both are the same. Kicker did it for ease of use when wring multiple subwoofers.
