sub squeaks? wtf

well it didnt used to do this. its a mtx 7515 and it was working fine for a few weeks. just recently i thought it was a few of the tie downs squeaking or other unrelated things. so i play it loud at idle not moving. still does it. only does it at higher volumes, and its not constant. more of a whenever it feels like it. but it does do it alot, just nothing with a pattern to it.

This happened to me with an older Solo-Baric a ran for a good long while, ended up completely dying one day and that squeaking you describe (like nails on a chalkboard) was the last sound that sub ever made //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

No doubt that that voice coil rub will eventually kill the sub.
