Sub sounds hollow.

I have a Rockford Fosgate 500.1 1500watt amp pushing a single Diamond D3 15 inch sub and when ever the sub moves, it sounds hollow. And ideas? Thanks.

either u didnt set the gains right or the crossover points but what usually makes the sub sound that way is if the box is to small for a specific driver.

I've used this sub for a year now in the same box and it never sounded this way. But I haven't messed around with the gain yet. Thanks.

how long have u been using them?

my s12l7 sounded hollow the first week or so.

it broke in and now it sounds full

I've been using the sub for about a year and I just got the suba couple days ago. But I've used my friend's before and never had a problem. Now, it's not giving out any sound.

Everyone knows your subs cant sound hollow if the box isn't hollow.
