Sub setup for a minivan

I only listen to rock and alternative, and I'm not looking to shake the neighbors as I drive down the street. I just want the music to sound good inside. Considering this info, would a 200-300 RMS amp driving two 10s or 12s be a bad idea? Would 150-200w RMS into a single 10" or 12" work better? I'm worried that the dual setup would sound crappy if I have to keep the volume too low, but also that the single sub wouldn't be enough in the back of a van. Thanks in advance!

a single 12 in a correctly tuned ported box should suffice.
